Why doesn't the vehicle support it?

    • if your iPod has Bluetooth, does the vehicle have Bluetooth. If so, use that
    • if your iPod does not have Bluetooth, does the vehicle have a USB port in it? If so, use the power cable for the iPod to plug it into the USB port
    • if the vehicle does not have either of the above, does it have a AUX socket? (I'll guess that it doesn't.) If it does, you could try using an audio cable to connect from the iPod's headphone outlet to the AUX input of the vehicle

In each of those cases, you need to ensure that the vehicle's entertainment system is switched to the appropriate input.
