Books font not adjustable anymore iOS 17.2.1

the newest 17.2.1 update has made the font in Books app not adjustable to a smaller size.

I mainly read from my phone on the go so this is really not working for me. The smallest font you can set it to now used to be the size 2 sizes up from the smallest.

please fix this :’)

Font size in books Since the 15 update my font is at max setting but is not big enough to read without glasses. Before this I could make the font huge. When will this be fixed? Will it be fixed? It is the only reason I have an iPad. If I have to wear glasses to read at night, I may as well just buy the real book. I’m so frustrated with this.

No font size controls in Books app? Using the latest IOS (13?), I see no font size control, and the book is completely unreadable. What's up with that? iPhone 6S Plus.

iPad mini (latest as of 2021) fonts size issue I made the text size larger and safari default zoom set to 125%, yet some fonts are ridiculously small, I.e. the fonts in the safari tabs and other texts in some apps are too small to read and making the text larger makes some fonts to be well.... too large that I can even read it across the room lol. I don’t have that issue in my iPhone 7 though. see screenshoot, I circled some text that is stubbornly too small.
