External disks used as Time Machine backup failing?
Hi, My Mac was going slowly and I suspected it was because the two HDs that I use as Time Machine backups were full. I deleted old backups (it doesn't seem to happen automatically). I reconnected the first disk and it was fine, the Mac was a lot faster. When I reconnected the second disk "the drag" kicked in again. I ran first aid (report below) but the machine went to sleep before the report was complete. Should I delete the disk contents and start afresh -- keeping the machine awake -- or is the disk really corrupt and heading for the bin?
