Toolbar disappeared while sending emails

When sending e-mails , the toolbar has suddenly vanished. Can anyone tell me what I did? and how to get it back?

you may have inadvertently hidden the toolbar. I would go into Apple Menu > Mail > View and select "show toolbar".
