Autofill password issue with chrome

On the iPhone password autofill, I have a recurring issue. This is happening on my new phone now and has happened previously on older phones. I’ve set up the password autofill for both iOS and chrome. For a while (has been about 4 months with this new phone) everything works fine. iOS passwords are the default selection, chrome ones are there in case they’re needed.

Now, chrome has become the default out of nowhere. Every time. Also, when I do select the chrome password, it will only pull in the username, and the password field remains blank. This happens all over the place in different apps, chrome, etc. so basically, chrome is the default selection now, and none of my chrome site info will pull any passwords over at all. Very frustrating.
