How do I turn off either high contract or increase contrast

I'm not sure which of these I activated.

There are no buttons showing that can be changed on Display.

To change the contrast settings,

choose Apple menu > System Settings,

click Accessibility in the sidebar,

then click Display on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

Choose: Display contrast / Then you can drag the slider to increase or decrease the screen contrast.

Hope this works for you :-)
