iOS Mail app drafts not syncing to Gmail

Draft emails created in the Mail app on my iPad Air 5 are not being synced to the Gmail server. I am using iOS 17.3.2 and the latest Mail app. I had the same problem with earlier versions of the iOS on this same iPad. I do not have this problem with my iPhone or the iPad I had before this one.

I am wondering if I should try to just use a different email app on my iPad, as I have unsuccessfully spent a lot of time, trying to solve to find a solution. Suggestions?

Gmail on iPhone Mail app not syncing with desktop mails apps I predominantly use Gmail on the Mail app on my iPhone. When I check my mail on my desktop apps (both Outlook and Mail app on MacBook), all mail appears unread and not in sync with mail app on my phone. Can someone please tell me how to rectify this?
