Are you aware or how safe is it for my data protection be compromised when my iPhone is bypassed?

There is this thing I recently found out that an iPhone can be opened through being bypassed then be opened to be used.

If you are concerned about your passcode being acquired by somebody watching you use it, then you can use biometrics, or you can use a longer passcode or password and thus make acquiring it more difficult, or you can enable stolen device protection (linked above), or a combination of these.

I use biometrics and a longer password and stolen device protection.

If somebody has your device (bad) and your passcode (worse) and with no stolen device protection, and if you’re slow about marking the device as lost or stolen, then your data and your Apple ID is at risk, yes.

Apparently there’s a software that is using internet connection to skip the interface that requires password or passcode.
Apparently because I didn’t see it being done but I witnessed an iPhone coming back opened for use.

This made me wonder how safe is my data in the phone is someone would do such if my phone is stolen?

You will also see software that claims in can bypass the Activation Lock, but those are simply not true. They are all snake oil attempts that will claim to work magic if you just give them a little money.

With that said there is software that has been used by Governments to spy on high value targets. The cost for the governments to acquire this software is well over a half a million dollars and you will not find it out in the wild by looking on the internet.

You may be familiar with the case in San Francisco where the government sued Apple because they were unable to get into a persons phone. Apple does not even have that capability and could they not force Apple to even create a method to make that happen. You can rest assured that if the FBI is not able to get into a phone and you are not a high value target that a foreign government wants your information, a rando on the internet is not capable of doing that. Of course they will take your money on such a claim.

You saw something on the Internet that said that the security on your iPhone could be bypassed.

Of course, you can also see articles on the Internet that claim to prove that the earth is flat.

So, give us a few more details about exactly "how" the security on an iPhone can be bypassed.

Now, if you neglect to use any security measures on your phone.....then there is nothing to bypass, is there?

Easiest way to perform that demo is to set up Face ID.
