My left airpod is making a routine clicking noise

I recently got a new left airpod and its been working perfectly. However recently it has been producing a click every 5 seconds(ish) with buzzing inbetween each click. The click happens at the exact same time every time. Ive noticed when i use the left airpod alone, its fine but cannot noise cancel properly, yet when i use both only then does the clicking happen. Hope i provided enough info here, let me know what you think!
