iCloud login

I'm trying to log into my iCloud.com account to see what has been saved there. I get to the point where it says to verify the email via an email account I no longer have but was originally linked to the iCloud account? How do I log in?

iCloud.com login When I try to log in, I get asked to verify my iCloud account email address. I no longer have access to that email account and haven't had access to it for many years. How do I get around this? It won't accept my @iCloud.com email address for verification even though that is what I use. Any help will be very much appreciated.

Whenever I login to iCloud it kicks me out immediately I don’t know what to do. It has nothing to do with credentials. I put the email and password, get the verification code, put it in, get logged in briefly, then kicked out back to the sign in page. It is an old email that is not connected to any of my devices now. I need to access to this old iCloud because a verification code for an important account was sent to the email.
