I woke up this morning and I could not access my iphone 12 pro max , Phone unavailable at this time.
Why did this happen?
I don't have an answer for you. Not possible to log on from a remote location. Have never seen this based on what you are reporting.
Don't want to use the "bug" excuse, but the Apple Store probably will if you take the phone in.
Maybe another user can help.
Unavailable normally only appears if there have been too many failed passcode attempts on the phone.

Thanks for replying, but...nobody touched my phone while I was sleeping (I live alone), why did this happen?
Was somebody trying to hack my phone remotely?
Does it say disabled? And what else does it say/show? Or you could give us a picture.
Another thing you can do is contact Apple Support or go to a store.
