Notes widget icon is too large.

Setting up new iPad mini 6 after mini 5. As shown, on my Home Screen my Notes widget icon is larger than others. How do I remove the detail it shows and reduce its size to normal?

Just delete the widget. The Notes app icon is somewhere else on your iPad, possibly in the App Library. Just drag it out to your Home Screen.
