visibility of page numbers

Dear community-members, how can I hide page-numbers on certain pages of a book? Would be so nice if someone can help me; since I need this done in order to get my poetrybundel printed. Thanks so much!!! Inge

You can hide a page number on the first page of a section (see Documents : Section panel). On non-first section pages, you can select and set the page number text color to white and set it back to black on pages where you want it to reappear.

When you export the above document to Word, all page numbers appear in light gray. Same issue when exported to PDF and the page numbers are all black when the PDF is viewed in Apple Preview.

Tested: Pages v13.2 on macOS Sonoma 14.3.
