The device has asked me to check with the owner to help with the Activation the phone says support.apple.com/kb/TS4515.

If you can please help me get the activation info

How do I fix an Activation Locked iPhone? I have my friends old iPhone that he just found the information for but when going to sign in its locked to owner. I tried to go to iforgot.apple.com but it keeps sending a verification code to his old number that he doesn't have anymore and it's not giving any other options. What should I do? I lost the serial number and activation required and not able to ON the IPad 2. I bought this IPad 2 in 2012 and worked until last month August 2023. Now it asking for Activation required. I have got my username for Apple ID AND Password. I bought this iPAD 2 In Bangalore India. Now I move to London in 2014. I have used since 2014 to August 2023.

Apple cannot help you remove activation lock on a secondhand device. You need to contact the person you bought it from.
