Whenever I connect my airpods to my phone and try playing through spotify it shows the car logo and autoplays, it doesnt bring up car mode as I have that feature switched off but it bothers me how it autoplays, could this be something to do with how you can track them through Find My? its really starting to bug me and just wanna know if anyone else has this issue and how to fix it

Mine does the same thing, and while I don’t think there’s anything specific that just completely solves the problem, what I did was just to go into settings and turn off it automatically going into car mode. This has it appear pretty normal when you are using your AirPods, minus the little car symbol still showing up on the bottom left of your screen.
Mine was already set with that off as I dont drive but when I connect to my parents car it winds me up . I just hate the autoplay thing it does where it plays music when I dont tell it to because it wants to be “Hands-Free” and I mainly just wanted a fix for that. However thank you for your input I’m glad to know its not just me
