So I recently upgraded y watch to the series 9 45mm I want to know what you recommend I do to with paid off watch series 6. My niece wants to buy it from me and gift to her partner: Idk if it’s a good idea or should I recycle it to Apple?

You could sell it to your niece if you want to (I assume it still functions as it should). You could recycle it. You could have traded it in (and technically still can for an Apple Gift card). There really isn’t a downside to any choice you make. It’s just that with recycling you don’t get anything in exchange. Selling it or trading it in you would.
