How to show declined events from Microsoft 365 (Exchange) in the ios 17 calendar

Since beginning of November 2023 Microsoft 365 (Exchange) for business has introduced an option to show declined events in the calendar so you can keep track of what you missed. Though this works perfectly in Outlook (2016, 2021, on the web) and Teams I can't make these events occur in the calendars of my iPhone or iPad (both on i(Pad)OS 17.3) that synchonize with the same Microsoft 365 account though the calendar "declined events" is active. What am I doing wrong?
