No Notifications on IPhone 12

Try this step of “hard power off reset”

ie. press side volume button up once and down once - then right button - hold till power off blank screen.. continue to hold till apple logo appears..

Had same problem on iphone XSMax - all notification settings were correct and noticed that location and find my iphone not pinging out as well.. did a privacy setting reset and didn’t help either

everything back to normal after hard power reset.

If you wear Apple Watch, by design, notifications will go to your Apple Watch while you are wearing it, NOT to your iPhone, unless your iPhone screen is active (on). But if the screen is not active and you are wearing your watch, that's where notifications go.

OK. And how have you configured the notification in Settings > Notification on your iPhone (not in the watch app, but in the settings on iPhone)? And did you do as I recommended and set the Notifications in your Watch App to Mirror your iPhone?

I have the same thing and have had it for a month. Model: 12 PRO. It is very annoying where I have to go into the app to see if I got any messages. In the notification settings I have everything set to 'show'. This also applies to the Watch band, which also does not get notifications. The only notifications I get are calls, messages or from apple apps like sleep.

Are you fixing or investigating this issue?

Unfortunately, when I have the screen active on my iphone, I don't see the notifications as a badge.

Moreover, when I have both devices not active according to this article I should have a notification on the Watch, but it's not there either.

I did as you recommended, but still no notifications. Here in the example of the Messanger app. Anticipating the question: yes in messanger I also set to display notifications :)

In general, it looks like a problem only with additional installed applications, those built into the system have no problem with notifications

Looks like Apple is not in the mood to fix this?

Was hoping the last TWO iPadOS updates would fix this, 17.5 and 17.5.1. Nope.

Oddly enough, my iPad has NO PROBLEM... just the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

You can try these fixes which recently I've try when I was stuck with the same issue.

First, check your Notification Settings

Go to Settings > Notifications. Make sure "Show Notifications" is toggled on for the app you're not receiving notifications from.

If above Settings are proper, you can reset network settings: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

Then you likely haven't set up notifications how you'd like them to appear on your iPhone. You need to go to Settings > Notifications and choose how you want to be notified for every app you use. Then on the Watch App on your iPhone, set it to mirror your iPhone for notifications.
