My Apple Books home screen has a scene that I can't use

My widgets on my home screen have a scene that i can't use via Apple Books i tried opening a book from my apple books home screen widget but it will not open it says it is formatted incorrectly and it works okay in the app but not from the widget....help

The widget is unrelated to reading with the Books app. If you are having issues with a specific book, check its file format with one of the various so-called pre-flight tools or other format-verification tools, or re-download it or re-generate it, or contact whoever generated it.
