Overwritten Folder Recovery (without Time Machine backup or iCloud backup)

I recently overwrote a folder containing FL Studio Projects that was on my Desktop with a folder that was in iCloud. Now all my data from the original folder is gone and overwritten with the new data. I tried downloading and using Disk Drill but I cannot find it through that either. Are there any solutions? Can Apple do a deep dive into my MacBook Pro and recover those files? Because surely data is never completely non-existent right? It HAS to exist somewhere right? Or am I giving myself false hope?
