All Contacts not in the iCloud contact list

I would like add the list called "All Contacts" to the list of accounts I can chose as my default contacts list on my iPhone 15 pro. This is so that all the contacts I have on my iMac will also appear on my iPhone.

In the Lists on my iPhone, I have 1,500 contacts in my "All Contacts" list, 885 in my "Gmail" list and 940 in my "iCloud" list.

When I go to settings to choose a default Contacts list, the only two choices are iCloud or Gmail. There is no option to select the All Contacts list.

How do I add the All Contacts list to the Accounts I can choose as the default account on my iPhone?

Thanks for any help!

Hello,

’All Contacts’ is basically a combination of your iCloud & Gmail contacts, it isn’t a separate list you can add contacts to and set as a default.

I personally I always have Gmail as my default, so every contact I add goes there.
