Rapid cycling of air pressure

I want to use the pressure sensor in my iPhone with an app to read out the pressure in a commercial-grade vacuum chamber. The pressure changes are significant, and I wonder what effect it has on the iPhone, one time and eventually over time.


It starts at standard sea level pressure (1013.25 millibars), then goes to lowest pressure of 5 millibars, which is like in the stratosphere. That takes about of 2 minutes and generally causes material expansion. Then the atmospheric pressure is released and the chamber returns in less than a second to seal level. That generally causes compression some compression.


Is the iphone capable of handling this? And if yes, more than two times?
