when trying to set up my apple cash it told me i needed a government issued id, a photo id or a drivers license. I just turned 18 and have no photo id or drivers license. is there any other way to verify my identity, i’ve tried passport and it does not work

A state photo ID (AKA non-Drivers License) is pretty easy to get in most states. It's not a bad thing to have. It's easier to carry than an passport and easier to replace.
