delete photos perm that are in my album named florida

I'm really confused as to why apple is says it helps organize your life. Mine is falling apart. I put 200 photos in Florida from various trips through the years. And from what I understand is I can delete the album, but those 200 pics will still be in my library somewhere in various days. Is there any way to take that collection and delete them as a whole somehow. I really don't have time to go through my 10,000+ photos to find those 200 photos and delete them. thanks. I'm using a regular laptop.

Sure. Open the album, select all of the contents (with command-A or Edit > Select All), then delete them (with Image > Delete xxx Items or command-delete).

That leaves you with an empty album, which you may delete or keep.
