does apple provide warranty for iphone silicone case?

I have purchased silicone case for iphone 15 pro max 2months ago. There is tear on left upper edge. Does retailers replace it?

Been told that Silicon phone case isn't covered by a warranty even though its only 5 months old? Hi I've got an iPhone 15 Pro max silicon case thats 5 months old and has started to split where the connector goes along the perforation for the speakers. I spoke to apple support and they told me that this isn't covered under warranty as it's not a manufacturing fault. I was really surprised by this so was wondering if any one else had had the same experience? I'm thinking of going into the local Apple store to complain about this as this phone only every goes in and out of my jeans pocket and sits on my desk. Any thoughts or similar experiences appreciated. Thanks
