First check if your Mac and your iPad meet the system requirements for Sidecar. The Support article outlines these. Then, if they do, follow the directions in the Support article to set it up.

Apple sidecar question I’m currently using a macbook pro 13” from 2017 and it is up to the latest update which is Ventura version. I also have an ipad pro m2 and it is now in ipados 17. I tried the sidecar feature but it only works for a few minutes and my ipad crashed and the screen sharing was not working sgain. Is there any solutions to this or is it that my mac is too old?
