I’m having issues with my Face ID

If you can explain specifically what kind of issues, it'll be helpful. Usually the best option is to delete and re-configure the Face ID and it does work well. Follow the instructions from the app, make sure face is well lit, bright and clear.

Verify that you are on the latest version of iOS. (iOS 17.3)

Another good feature with Face ID. Say you want someone else in the family to be able to access the device, but not want to share the code, which can be compromised. Apple iPhone allows multiple Face ID setup, so you can use one for your face and other for someone else who you want to give the access to. Helps in many other different scenarios as well.
