Is there a current issue with iCloud mail host services?

Having persistent problems across multiple devices login into iCloud email server, but have no problem accessing my iCloud Drive and files there.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 13.6

Does anyone know what the specific iCloud mail server settings should be? My mail app can receive messages but won’t send them. My iCloud account can send from my iPad and iPhone but not my MacBook. I called support but she didn’t seem to understand the problem. What I’m looking for is the specific server name, host name, etc for icloud. Thanks

Apple Mail lost connection (after password change) with server I can access apple mail via icloud web, but can't anymore via Apple Mail. All the time it says - that server is offline. Several times I provided working credentials. I can' remove that account couse some icloud services are not allowed to be disabled, tried. Thats dead loop - there is no option to provide credentials, it wont connect.

Apple Mail App - Duplicate iCloud accounts For some reason when I first set up my Mail account on my Mac, it shows duplicate mailboxes for the same iCloud account. Two sets of everything. The mailboxes sync properly. I receive emails, but I am unable to send email to send any emails. I receive this message when I attempt to send any emails: The server response was: <unknown[68.207.114.63]>: Client host rejected: Access denied I am running the most recent update of macOS Sonoma 14.0 I am able to send and receive email on the Mail app from my other apple devices. I have tried disabling iCloud Mail and reenabling. This is tedious because it re-downloads thousands of messages. And it didn't help. I have tried signing entirely out of iCloud and back in. This is tedious because the Mac wants to delete all my local iCloud Drive files, Photo Library, etc, and then re-sync. Didn't help. Has anyone found a solution for the double iCloud account in mail issue please?
