Apple Cellular Confusion

I am live in Ireland and her schools get what is called a midterm break so we are on holiday for a week at Halloween 🎃 I visited San Francisco I went to the apple store in union square to buy an apple watch series nine the employee told me that if I bought an apple watch cellular in America that it should work in Ireland so he went and checked just to make sure the man said that the network provider 3 supported eSim I did not buy the apple watch and thought about it for 2 days. We then went to Apple Headquarters, Apple Park I was then again reassured at the apple park visitors centre that cellular would work in Ireland. I have also been told that the network Vodaphone also support eSim I have yet to get an eSim for my watch as I don't want to waste money I paid an extra $100 to get cellular on this watch and they told me it would work so either Apple SCAMMED ME or three don't support eSim does anybody no anything about this that could help I am not against Apple I just want to make sure I got what I paid for.

Apple Watch - Carriers - Apple

Ireland does not have a carrier that supports the Apple Watch.

As this is just a user-to-user technical support forum, you should contact Apple directly.

The forum webpage should have an Apple Store contact, as well as an Apple Support contact at the bottom of the web page.
