iCloud is rejecting my payment method

Every time I try to put in my card it declines, and It makes me change my card thinking it's the issue of the bank or insufficient amount. and I tried to search and apply all the technics and still my payment keeps on being declined. I would require your support on this. Thanks

Guessing you have already checked the expiry date on your card is OK.

Seems, Apple can accept most credit / debit cards used in Rwanda ...


Apple support have an Article online that may provide help with this issue:

If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support


Eg: You may need to check that your card-provider is authorized to make international payments.

(seems iCloud storage plans are billed in USD in Rwanda)

or

to ask your credit-card provider why they decline payment from your card

eg: ... there may be changes to local laws ?

else: if you have debated a charge from Apple:

you may need to ask the card-provider to allow payments to Apple again.

Wondering if you have moved with your Apple ID Account to a different country ?

Eg: Find out how to change your Apple ID country or region.


You can contact Apple support and ask them to make your account zero if needed

Eg: Check your Apple Account balance - Apple Support

says:

"Before you can delete your Apple ID or change your Apple ID country or region, you must spend all of your Apple Account balance. You may also have to wait for any pending refunds to be processed. If your balance is less than the cost of a single item, contact Apple Support."
