The complications on my watch face used to show the date in format “SUN, JAN 7”, now it shows it as “WED 31”. Although it is not a great strain to remember it is January, I prefer the format that shows the month. How do I change it back?

Unfortunately, you cannot change it back. Your only options are to select a watch face that offers the date the way you prefer to see it. Here are three I've found. The trick seems to be to pick a watch face that shows the info you want, is to select on that shows a compilation at the bottom ... not bottom right or left.

Was that part of the last update? The format changed without changing the watch face, which I like. It seems like an annoying “improvement” if that is the case
