My HomePod's volume is much lower than before.

I bought my HomePod mini in 2021. It was perfect and the volume was loud, so loud that I wished for a 'whisper mode'. Seems like I got my wish because it is much lower than normal. Has this happened to anyone else? Would I go to Apple for a replacement? It has never been compromised in any way.
