Color Profile for Macbook Air M2 2022 is a washed out with yellowish tinge

The Color LCD profile is the default on my MacBook Air M2 2022. It looks pale, washed out, with a yellowish tinge. Entry fields in the screen are very hard to find. Is this the correct profile to use? My wife has the same machine that is a few months newer and her screen looks light years better with the same color profile.

Switching to the Adobe RBG looks a lot better but the screen is still lacking contrast.
