I am trying to install megastat into Excel, but it will only install in Numbers. How can I override this? I think I have already changed the setting where all excel files automatically open in excel, and that did not seem to help.
(I use a licensed copy of excel through my school, and they have disabled the ability to search for/download add-ins, so I have downloaded the megastat installer separately.)

I haven't used Excel for decades so I'm just responding with a back to basics answer. By the sounds of it the fact that your school has disabled the installation of add-ons means that you can't install the add-on even using an external installer. Approach your school to get permission to install it under the system manager's supervision.
Megastat is installing in the wrong program
