Recently, the Command+N keyboard shortcut is not working in any of my applications, both Apple and third party applications. I have a Mac mini M2 Pro that is running Sonoma 14.3.
I would very much appreciate any suggestions to remedy this issue. Thank you!

Try restarting in Safe Mode and then restart normally. It will clear some System Caches.
Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Open Keyboard System Settings, Keyboard Shortcuts button, and Restore Defaults.
I don't know if that will fix the problem, but I don't know what else might be causing the problem.
Are you using a third-party keyboard that requires software to make it work with macOS?
Another place to check is System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Shortcuts button at the bottom. Check to see if something was inadvertently setup there also.
Today, the keyboard shortcut Command+N started working again magically. My last effort to fix the problem, and my last OS software update, occurred days ago with no apparent success in resolving the problem at the time. Sometimes, it seems there is no rhyme or reason to a Mac's behavior.

TO: Barney-15E: The issue persisted in Safe Mode. This could be a tough one. On the bright side, it's nowhere near a showstopper!
