Scanning QR Code with the MacBook Pro's camera
I live in Switzerland. Since almost a year to pay the bills we have to use the camera to scan a QR Code that comes with the bill. The procedure is the following:
Open the Mac -> Launch Safari or Firefox -> Log into your account on your banking account -> choose the appropriate option to pay that bill -> On the page you can enter all the information partaining to the bill (it's time consuming) OR you can click on a box to SCAN the QR code on the bill. The camera will come on -> you scan the QR code and all the informations concerning the bill are automatically entered on the formular on the screen. You click OK and hop the bill is paid. It work very well on my old 2016 MacBook Pro.
I changed a few months ago for a Mac Book Pro M2 Pro, 32Gb memory. I have Sonoma 14.2.1. Well since then, the bloody camera will not scan my QR Codes. On the bank page, when I click on the "scan QR code" box nothing happens. I need help for that. Thank you to all of you.
