I need help identifying my Macbook Pro's 2338 LCD-Flexcable FCD connector

Hi Peeps,

I have ordered a faulty replacement Backlight Strip for my Macbook Pro. Unfortunately.

One of the Flexcable FCD connectors is missing its parts (the surrounding shell).

Can anyone please help me and tell me what size of FCD connector I need to buy in order to be able to connect my parts?

You are unlikely to find anyone on the Apple forums who knows anything about this. I follow some of this stuff and even watch a YouTube video of the procedure, but I don't even know the answer to your question. Plus the forum moderators usually remove posts & links about these topics so even if someone had the knowledge, the post would probably be removed by the moderators. I'm actually surprised your post is still here.

You will need to ask on some other forum dedicated to those types of hardware repairs since you be more likely to encounter someone who may know that information.
