My kids are on my iCloud Family plan, and I have 1TB of storage, but my son is limited to only 50GB of storage. The other kids have more. I want to increase the amount he is allowed to use, but have been able to locate the settings section that allows me to do that.

If you have a 1TB and he is limited to 50GB then it sounds like he has his own plan. Normally if you are part of a family plan you can use as much as you want until everybody in the family had reached the joint limit. If this is the case, have him cancel his plan.

I need to give my son more storage on the family iCloud plan so he can backup his phone.
