So my iPad Air 2 is on iOS 15.8.1 and I just got this iPad. I’m trying to get Netflix on this but it says that it’s not compatible and I know this. So when this happens it does not prompt me to download a older version of the app and there is no button. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I hope someone will correct me from whatever I’m doing wrong.

The available version of Netflix for iPad requires iPadOS 16.x or later. Unfortunately, your iPad Air2 is incapable of update beyond iPadOS 15.8.x.

If your iPad cannot be updated to a supported version of iPadOS, you have no alternative other than to replace your existing iPad with a much newer model.
To get a prompt for a compatible version you must try to download it from your "Purchased List", not from the App Store entry directly.
If you have not downloaded Netflix with the Apple ID being used on the iPad before this, you will not be able to get a compatible version.

I just got off the line with Netflix support and they told me that if you have the ad based (cheaper) plan than you must have iOS 16 to download but if you upgrade to their unlimited plan you can download content with iOS 15.xx devices-a little crazy.
That’s a bold faced lie.
There is no way for Netflix to know what plan you have before you download the app, so they would have no way of limiting that.

As an iPhone 7 can only be updated to iOS 15.8.x, you'll not be able to install the Netflix App on your iPhone.

Si tu iPhone no soporta iOS 16 o superior no podrás descargar la versión mas reciente de Netflix.
Si has descargado Netflix en el pasado con la misma Apple ID que tiene tu iPhone en otro dispositivo (iPad, iPhone, Apple TV), es posible obtener una versión compatible con el iOS en tu iPhone si lo descargas de tu historial.

Si no has descargado Netfix con el Apple ID en el iPhone nunca antes, no hay forma de obtener una versión compatible.
