Head tracking on headphones stop

I’ve been AirPods Pro for a long while and never had any problems. I recently bought the AirPod Max and have been having issues with Headtracking turning off randomly.

i have the latest phone updates, the headphones are up to date, I’ve done hard resets and it still happens.

Yes, I’ve checked the settings and are all set correctly as I use my AirPods Pro with no issues.

I can be listening to a song fine, the Spatial Audio is perfect, atmos is great, Headtracking is fine. The next song comes up and Headtracking stops and becomes fixed. Switching the audio from Headtracking to fixed and back again has no effect. The only way to get it working again is to turn Bluetooth off and on again.

The issue is with the AirPod Max as the Pro works absolutely fine, my entire SONOS Speaker system works fine, it’s the Max at fault here.

is there going to be a fix at anytime!

My Airpod Max arrived today. Listening to Dolby Atmos music with headtracking was my main reason to buy them.

I have the Airpods Pro already, where it works perfect.

With the AirPods Max I have the same problem that you describe. Of course, with recent firmware and iOS 17.4

It seems, as if others have that problem too, but Apple is not interested. It was reported here a while ago.

I'll send it back to the vendor, I guess.
