Arranging Pictures

I wanted to arrange all my pictures in different albums. Can this be done through a MacBook and if so, how?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

Arranging pictures is really what Photos on a Mac is all about! There are lots of things you can do-- maybe this will help:

Create and work with albums in Photos on Mac - Apple Support

Keep in mind that a picture can be in several albums without taking up any extra space-- the album is just a list of pictures you want to see together. So you can list that picture of Aunt Ester at the Grand Canyon in the "Aunt Ester" album and in the "Grand Canyon" album, as well as in the "Old Aunts" album.

If you turn on iCloud in Mac Photos and on your iPhone, then all the albums with the same pictures will appear on both devices. And if you take a picture with the iPhone, it will show in the pre-made "Recents" album on the Mac, where you can put it in an old album, or make a new album, and the picture will automatically be available in the album on the phone. This is all pretty cool!
