Hi. My friend has a MacBook pro (late2013) running big sur and I said I would try to find out how far he could go os software wise with the limitations a 2013 MacBook Pro would give him.

sorry, but Big Sur is as far as that MBP can be upgraded to.
Thank you very much jeffreythefrog, very much appreciated may friend, you see myself I wasn’t sure, and you certainly sound like you very much know what you are talking about, so we….. collectively (me and my friend who has said MacBook are attempting a project together, so I wonder if you possibly may be able to assist us with another conundrum we have atm namely…. I have a Tascam mixing desk it’s actually a DM4800 (now obsolete) but a beautiful piece of kit and we are having trouble syncing it up to the laptop and we weren’t sure whether the problem was a software (laptop) problem or a driver (desk) problem that’s why we wanted to know if the laptop software could be upgraded, it’s the ‘FireWire’ that we can’t seem to sync, any ideas would be greatly appreciated……, regards Bironic69….
