My daughter wants a Macbook to do some basic music recording and editing. So far, she's been using her phone with Bandlab to make tracks with samples, loops and her own voice. Which Macbook would be best (processor, RAM, etc)?
MacBook Pro 2021 M1 (16", chip Apple M1 Pro, CPU 10 Cores and GPU 16 Cores, 16 GB de RAM, 1 TB SSD) ~ $2400 It will probably handle it fine, albeit slower, Obviously, a faster and more powerful processor will handle things more competently, but don't be pressured into a more expensive machine if something thinner and lighter will address your needs just fine.
