Hold frame with moving mask?

Hello

thanks in advance

i have a clip that add to it a mask and for sure this mask is moving with the subject

now i want to hold a frame for 2 second

so i added hold frame behavior but still the mask is moving coz it's been keyframe

now how i can hold the frame with the mask ??

Draw Mask Keyframing to make the mask move I have a tricky shot (guy is wearing a shirt the same color as the sky) & I need to put something between him and the sky. So I'm literally drawing his outline with the draw mask (it's a short shot so frame by frame is possible). But he's moving to the side so I need to get the draw mask to go with him. I'm familiar with keyframing in general but can't get it to work with draw mask. In the inspector I go to the draw mask box & "Position" and click the diamond (turning it yellow) where I want a keyframe in the man's movement. However when I do this it just moves the entire draw mask (no key framing). The only thing I can think of to do it literally cut each clip each frame to make a new clip but that's a pain - what am I doing wrong?

Is it possible to animate on/off of a magnetic mask? I have a magnetic mask associated with an effect but I'd like to use the same effect later in the timeline without the mask. I can't seem to find a way to turn off the mask.

Final cut pro drawing mask Does anyone have any ideas why the drawing mask works at the bottom of the screen (in the image) but doesn’t work for the outstretched hand on the right?

For your clip "Silhoue..." with the Circle Mask, select the clip and make a Clone (type the K key). Turn off the visibility of the Silhoue clip.

Add the Hold Frame to the Clone layer.
