Macbook Air 2015 recovery

I erased my macbook air 2015 when I thought that it was stolen but didn't mark it a stolen though. Since I have gotten it back I have been trying to recover it but to no avail. It requested for admin password which I input but failed to activate. Please do anyone knows what I can do to recover it? Find my was active on the macbook but I have been trying to remove it through icloud to be able to reactivate my macbook but to no avail please I need help on how to go about it. What will i do to remove the activation lock?

Note: I have full access to my icloud account and the macbook admn password.
