How do I find my own posts?

For some incredibly frustrating reason there is no intuitive way of finding my own posts on this forum. It has been like this for several years. To me its an obvious necessity, a simple button readily available (eg. next to "ask the community" which says "My content" or something similar. As far as I can remember, no such link/button has ever existed on this forum.

I know it was previously possible to get around this by using several clicks (should've been just one...): "avatar --> my subscription --> filter on own content. This does not work for me anymore as it says "no recent activity".

How do I list all my authored posts on this forum?

Thank you, and sorry for my ranting. It is just such an obvious thing that every forum should have, and for an Apple forum (which should have the user in focus) to not have this has rubbed me the wrong way for years... I hope someone in a position to change this sees this.

Here’s a recent previous example with a good/detailed explainer.

And heres my old post as well. I was experimenting on a moderately large sample size and I actually found that the addition of keywords to the search string was necessary to find more than 15 or 20 hits. it’s a bit of a long post since I ran a test scenario, and its probably extraneous information for most ppl, but maybe some will find it helpful.

Google might have added a feature in the meantime that allows you to expand the cap on search hits. Once you get to the bottom of the page of search results, there might be an option available to expand to include similar items.

TIP: When I want a search engine to look ONLY at these forums, I use this this site-delimited search string:

username site:discussions.apple.com

That eliminates any results outside these forums, like the Washington Apple Growers Association 😳

For usernames like mine that are two words, enclose the username in quotes:

"Mac Fan" site:discussions.apple.com

This is a remarkably common question. I think the very first time I posted to this forum (years ago), it was to answer a similar question. Back then I thought I was very clever with my solution. 😁🙄

In retrospect, high level members frequenting the boards were probably already answering it on the reg.

The short answer is google.

I have only a few minutes, but if I can quickly find a previous post with a good/detailed explainer, i’ll add a link for you. (if I run out of time, I’m certain someone else will be able to help.)

Thank you so much for helping out!

I also want to find previous posts about problems I’ve had, but I don’t remember exactly what the posts were about.. I’ll try googling for “Apple discussions <username>.

So basically Apple made a forum which does not let you find your own authored posts? And after all these years and complaints, they have still not been able to fix it?? I can’t come up with any good reasons for why they won’t let users find their posts.. Incredible..
