Do I need to bring a prescription from my eye provider for the demonstration or is this information need at time of purchase?

Are prescription inserts available only for distance vision on Apple Vision Pro? I uploaded my prescription to Zeiss but they keep coming back saying there's a problem: Issues found on your prescription: Prescription is for near or reading vision only. How to solve: We're sorry, but we couldn't process your prescription. Please upload an valid eyeglass prescription for distance vision so we can complete your order. Which doesn't make any sense. It's definitely not a reading prescription and even Zeiss own website, where you can put in the prescription details and check it, says it's okay. Did I miss any info from Apple that "near" vision prescriptions are not supported?! Anyone else have this issue? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

What kind of prescription is required for Vision Pro? I'm nearsighted. I have two prescriptions. A standard one for distance and general use. And a reader's glasses one that I use with my Mac. Also, my vision is perfect up to about 12 inches, so do I even need a prescription? No Vision Pro for tagging yet, of course, so I'm taking a chance that someone with a MBP might have an answer out there. Thanks in advance.

It will be needed at time of purchase, because otherwise, prescription lenses will not be created ad hoc at the time of the demo.
