Your apple id is not active

Hello Apple Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance regarding an issue I'm currently facing with my Apple ID. When attempting to log in, I received a notification stating that my Apple ID is not active.

I have tried, but the issue persists. This has impacted my ability to access certain services and features on my Apple devices.

Could someone kindly guide me on how to resolve this matter or direct me to the appropriate channels for assistance? Your help and insights would be greatly appreciated.

This happened very suddenly on my husband's ID as well. I opened a ticket and spoke to a rep and they said he had "violated the terms and conditions" but couldn't tell me which one. In fact, she couldn't tell me anything except that he needed to create a new Apple ID and factory reset his iPod (which would wipe it entirely clean). But I am unable to create a new Apple ID for him now matter what I try. And good luck trying to find anything helpful at all to address this - either online or by calling. I'm wondering if there is something going on with the Apple ID functionality in general - like an outage of some kind. I'm eager to see if you get any resolution to this.
