The Audio profiles mentioned in the shared link are for Bluetooth classic, there is no explicit support for profiles developed under Bluetooth Low Energy (LE).
Contact Apple MFi, and ask them. Likely not much will likely have changed in a ~month, though.
Any recent word on whether Apple devices will be including Bluetooth LE Audio?
