iPhone 11max pro speakerphone cuts in and out on calls & FaceTime

Recently my 11max pro can no longer be used on speakerphone because the person on the other end says it keeps cutting in and out and progressively gets worse. This is extremely frustrating as we use speakerphone and FaceTime daily to stay in touch with friends & family. I cannot believe apple will not even acknowledge the problem, and say they are working on a fix. “Can you hear me now?”-apple

has anyone been able to speak with a advisor/or developer that acknowledges it? I know this bug was reported by beta users but I cannot find any sort of final resolution or confirmation that apple is working on it.
